Amazing New Features!
We didn't just move! We have upgraded! Thanks to all our members who took the time to provide incredible feedback over the past 12 months. We have taken your comments on board and made some changes.

So at the ALL NEW www.portaleducation.com you will find:
A) The site has been rebuilt. From the visual look to the software which drives the online video (both live and on demand) its all new!
B) We have simplified the whole site, now we only have two sections LIVE ONLINE CONFERENCES and ON-DEMAND VIDEO.
C) LIVE ONLINE CONFERENCES can be purchased and watched with the ease of only ONE CLICK.
D) Interaction at live events is now via chat panels. Simply type the question to the presenter.
E) ON-DEMAND VIDEO is now better than ever. Broken up into two sections PORTAL ON DEMAND and PREMIUM CONTENT, we are using state of the art technology to deliver video directly to your desktop.
F) STREAMING VIDEO – no more waiting for it to load! We stream it directly to you and you can skip to anywhere in the video just by clicking a point on the time-line. Want to watch the end of a video, just click the end and start from there instantly!
G) ALL VIDEO ON THE SITE – now analyzes your connection and streams the most appropriate resolution to you – got a slow connection? PORTAL send you slightly lower resolution video to make your experience better. Got a super fast connection – watch it in DVD like quality. All videos can be switched to full screen mode.
H) The LIVE Conference engine has been completely redesigned. We now use data-centres to stream the live event around the world so the video delivery is faster, smoother and easier to use. We also have a chat box for you to type questions to the event, making interaction much easier.
I) The site is now found at www.portaleducation.com The old site is still up and running at www.portaleducation.com.au and will remain so for a while so members can still access old content. We are in the process of moving some of the content over so members can access it through the new site.

The old Portal site
The old site will be still available and all your old content will remain for at least the next year or so. It will function just as it always has - except all new content and access will be via the new site.
We will eventually be phasing out the old site....this will be the last newsletter from the old site, and marks an amazing advancement for the PORTAL site.

Diabetic Foot Conference 2010
The Premier International Diabetic Foot Conference is being held in Los Angeles 18 to 20 March 2010.
Portal Education will be broadcasting the 3 day conference live, in real time. You will see video, powerpoint slides and hear audio. You will require a broadband internet connection and speakers or headphones. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions live to the presenters through the Portal interactive chat panel, as if you had front row seats at the conference.
The 3 day conference is approved for 20 CPME contact hours for Podiatrists in the United States and Australia. For other countries, please check your registration board guidelines, or contact support@portaleducation.com if you would like us to investigate on your behalf.
