The term PORTAL or PORTAL Education refers to the owner of the website. The term you refers to the user or viewer of our website.

The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

• All material presented on this website is considered intellectual property.  It remains the sole property of the 3rd party provider who is contracted by PORTAL Education to deliver it OR PORTAL Education itself.

• All content is Trademark & Copyright Protected by PORTAL Education & its affiliated where necessary.  Any use of material either on or from this website without the strict written consent of the PORTAL Education is considered a breach of Copyright &/or Trademark Law.  Any downloading of, sharing, distributing in any form is strictly prohibited.

• Reproduction of any photographs, animation, video or slides without the express written consent of PORTAL Education is strictly prohibited.

• Use of PORTAL Education website requires signing in and agreeing to the Terms & Conditions.  Non Members are still required to sign up to the site,  they WILL NOT BE CHARGED a fee for doing so but are bound in entirety by these terms and conditions.

• MEMBERSHIP ENTITLEMENTS - All full paying members are entitled to unrestricted and unlimited access to the PORTAL Education website.  This access includes, but is not restricted to:

1. Full use of the Events Calender including MEMBER DISCOUNTS for PORTAL "Live" events.
2. PORTAL Live CPPE points tracking and recording.
3. Unlimited use of PORTAL Wine Bar and PORTAL Coffee Lounge as well as the ability to schedule your OWN events.
4. Unrestricted access to the PORTAL Forums.
5. Unlimited access to all channels of PORTAL TV.

• NON MEMBERSHIP RESTRICTIONS - Non Members after signing in are restricted to the following activities:

1. Viewing and selection of PORTAL "Live" Lectures/Events.  These events selected by Non Members will be charged at a PREMIUM rate.
2. Viewing ONE channel of The Foot Spot TV.
3. Limited forum use.

• PORTAL Education reserves its right to disable &/or remove the account without notice of any person seen to be breaching any of the Terms & Conditions

PROMOTIONAL CODES are issued solely by PORTAL Education.  They may be revoked or removed at anytime without notice.

Credit Card transactions performed via the PORTAL Education website will show up as The Foot Spot Portal on credit card transaction records.

PORTAL Education take no responsibility for failure of users to have the correct hardware to use this site.  All users should read the hardware requirements prior to joining or buying lectures - these can be found on the registration PAGE.  Users will require a PC or MAC based computer with Windows XP, Vista OR MAC OSX or later.  An internet connection is also required as well as the ability to listen to sound through the computer (Sound Card) and if you would like to speak, a microphone input device.  All PORTAL Education lectures utilise VOIP technology as standard at no extra cost to the user, however users MAY utilize the teleconference option instead and use a telephone to dial into the lecture and follow it using their computer ONLY if this is available.  Please see the registration PAGE or follow the instructions for this when you first log into the "Live"lecture.  All teleconference rates in NSW, Australia are charged at local call rates.  Interstate and international calls are charged at those particular rates.  PORTAL Education cannot be held liable for charges relating to users phone costs during any PORTAL Education events.  Please check with your PHONE provider prior to purchasing a lecture if this is of concern to you.

Similarly, PORTAL Education cannot take any responsibility for the failure of users hardware or inadvertent internet connection loss/quality deterioration during any online activities or events.  It is up to the user to ensure adequate internet connection (recommended Broadband at a minimum speed of 256/64) with their own ISP.  PORTAL Education does not control, monitor or regulate users connections to the internet.  It is also up to the user to ensure they have adequate UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD quota available through their ISP.  PORTAL Education cannot be held responsible for breaching download/upload limits.  Users must responsibly monitor their OWN ISP determined limit.

PORTAL Education requires some information to be downloaded from our site.  In the example of a PORTAL "Live" lecture an average ONE HOUR lecture uses approximately 5-7kilobytes per second of use, which equates to 5 - 10 megabytes total.  PORTAL TV utilizes real time streaming of video content equating to large downloads - please check your download quota from your ISP and your download speeds to ensure you have sufficient quality for viewing.  PORTAL Education takes no responsibility for download speed issues or download quota issues relating to individual users.

PORTAL Education or The Foot Spot, may not be held liable for any information obtained from this site and used clinically.  It is solely the responsibility of the person viewing or participating in  this content for how this information is used in a clinical environment.  This site does not replace the need for face to face clinical training, University or higher institution training.  This site facilitates the dissemination of information from 3rd parties.

PORTAL Education reserves the right to send non-members and members emails/promotional material relating to events, past and in the future.
